Apple to Unveil Foldable iPhone with iPhone 18 Pro in 2026

Must read

Apple is gearing up for one of its most ambitious product launches in years, with plans to introduce its first foldable iPhone, advanced AirPods featuring artificial intelligence capabilities, and a redesigned iPhone in honor of the product’s 20th anniversary. This anticipated lineup is set to include the iPhone 18 Pro series and the brand’s inaugural foldable iPhone, expected to debut in September 2026, aligning with Apple’s customary release schedule. These devices will reportedly showcase the new A20 Pro processor, potentially signaling the start of an annual series of foldable iPhones.

Looking further ahead, Apple is reportedly preparing special edition iPhones to commemorate the product’s two-decade milestone, with models currently known as V73 and V74 slated for a late 2027 release. These commemorative phones are anticipated to feature an edge-to-edge display with curved glass design and will operate on Apple’s forthcoming A21 chip, utilizing 2-nanometer technology to deliver enhanced performance.

In addition to its iPhone innovations, Apple is reportedly enhancing its AirPods with artificial intelligence features, including integrated cameras. These cameras are designed to provide visual data to Siri, enabling users to interact with AI by recognizing objects and surroundings, rather than capturing images or videos. Although initially expected in 2026, the launch of these AI-centric AirPods has been postponed as Apple continues to refine its AI technology.

Beyond its existing product lines, Apple is also venturing into new territory with explorations into smart glasses and various wearable devices. These endeavors are part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its AI ecosystem and prepare for future hardware developments.

Despite the flurry of reports about these upcoming products and timelines, Apple has yet to officially confirm any of the details or launch dates. As the tech giant continues to innovate, the industry keenly awaits further announcements that could redefine the landscape of consumer electronics.
